Description

Transport W. Cyr, a company specialized in General LTL transportation, is looking for a driver – class 1 dedicated to customer satisfaction. If quality service is your priority, you will fit right in with our team. Please note that the driver will not be assigned to moves if that is an issue for you, but will be required to handle kitchen cabinets, and other general cargo with a pallet jack and/or 2-wheel cart. Hiring bonus of $3,000 for a qualified candidate who can do the job without training.

  • A 2019 Volvo truck (new);
  • A permanent, year-round driver position;
  • A competitive salary ($70,000 to $80,000 per year);
  • A complete group insurance program (including dental care);
  • A vehicle equipped with a pallet jack and all the necessary equipment to facilitate handling;
  • A $3,000 hiring bonus if the candidate meets our needs and is able to do the job without training.

Your job

If you prefer stability, you will appreciate the regular route offered to you. As a Class 1 driver, you will travel the east coast of the United States.

On each trip, you will be required to

  • Rigorously inspect the vehicle before departure;
  • Travel the distance between Quebec and the United States;
  • Unload the truck and deliver the goods to the customer.

Skills we are looking for

The ideal driver offers an efficient and personalized delivery service to our customers. With good driving habits, he or she brings all the goods entrusted to him or her to the right destination.

You have

  • Class 1 driver’s license;
  • Good driving record;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in delivery;
  • Good command of English.

Since our driver will be traveling in the United States, he/she must not have a criminal record.

Commissions
